Transforming a Historical Wonder into a Modern Marvel. At PCG Builders, we’re excited to showcase our recent project at 4 Villeroy St, Hampton where we collaborated with the highly esteemed Brian Darminan Architects to create something truly special. This stately old property was originally a sprawling garden and a maze of dimly lit rooms. The goal was clear: to infuse the space with light, while honoring its rich heritage.
The Vision:
Brian Darminan Architects designed a contemporary yet heritage-sensitive transformation, focusing on maximizing natural light, especially in the South-facing rear garden. Our team’s mission was to bring this vision to life efficiently and economically while maintaining the integrity of both architectural and interior design.
The Process:
With a client who had a crystal-clear vision and a detailed brief, we worked closely together to source the most cost-effective solutions. Every step of the way, our priority was to ensure that the design intent was never compromised.
The Result
We’re proud to announce that this outstanding renovation has been nominated for the Best Heritage Renovation at the Bayside Built Environs Awards 2024. Villeroy St stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and dedicated craftsmanship.
